Q: 2009 honda pilot has no power to trailer plug, main fuse is OK?
I have a 2009 honda pilot. It has a pre-installed plug at the rear to attach a wire harness for trailers. None of the wires have power to them. I installed the main trailer fuse and then fuses for the trailer charge and electric brakes just in case. I find nothing in the manual and there doesn't appear to be any more fuses related to trailers. does anyone know what else might be needed?
A: check your wires or you can take it back to the dealership.
Q: where can I find a good 3rd party audio system to add to my 2006 Honda Pilot?
I want to replace the steroe/cd player in my Pilot (2006 EX) with something better. I would prefer something that plays MP3s or interacts directly with an iPod. Would also be interested in incorporating a navigation system if there is some awesome system that incorporates all. Price is a consideration but not a game stopper. Anyone know a good place to look for this?
A: crutchfield.com

Q: I turned the ignition key off while the Honda Pilot was still in the Drive position. Help, my car won't start?
I stopped my car and turned the ignition key off without first putting it into the DRIVE position. The car tuned off, but now it won't start. The battery is fine-- jumping it didn't start the car. After I realized that it wasn't in Park, I moved it into the park position. I could not get the Pilot to start. Any ideas?
A: jump it with the car in park it will not start in drive even with a jump

Q: Does this work with the Honda Pilot?
I have a Honda Pilot (not sure which year but it's pretty old) and I was wondering if a iPod stereo is compatible with it, It's the kind that plugs into the speaker part of your iPod and then plugs into a hole by the stereo. It's not an FM transmitter.
Is there generally a jack in older cars?
A: just check for your input, if you have it then there should be an AUX button to use the ipod hookup, most cars that have the actual ipod hookup, have a button that says either MP3, Ipod, or AUX, but if you dont have that little jack on your dashboard, your car doesnt come ipod capable, which if its an older one, it wont
Q: Does the Honda Pilot have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive?
I've been looking at the pilot for a while now, and I can't seem to find a definitive answer as to weather or not the Pilot has actual 4 wheel drive. I need the 4x4 for going off road, so all wheel drive just wont work...
A: It's not available in AWD, only 2WD and 4WD... what you want.
Q: About how much to lease a Honda Pilot?
I am looking at a Honda Pilot ... about a $30,000 vehicle for a 3 year lease at either 12K miles/year or 15K miles/year. Any ideas on what the leasepayment would be? Best place to lease in the Dallas area?
A: With a 36 month lease, 15K miles, .0022 money factor, 50% residual, no down payment, and no price discount, you would pay $515 a month, not including sales tax. Of course, if you made a down payment, or got a price discount/rebate, or got a better money factor or residual, your payments would be less. See http://www.leaseguide.com/index2.htm for details.
The best place to lease a Honda is at a Honda dealer who uses American Honda Finance Corp. as his lease finance company. The deal will be the same at any Honda dealer, assuming you get the same price and terms.
Q: Dry or wet nitrous kit for Honda Pilot?
I am going to install a 50-75HP nitrous oxide kit on my Honda Pilot and I was wondering which system (wet or dry) works best with the Pilot fuel/intake system to avoid detonation. Will the fuel pump/regulator be sufficient with a dry system considering maximum pressure will be given at WOT or should I install an extra fuel supply line and go wet? If going with the wet system, I will still be using stock fuel pump/regulator but again maximum pressure will be given at WOT.
A: At that level either one should be fine. The wet kit is usually more reliable, but the dry kit can be too. The argument rages to this day....it will never be decided since there are die hard fans of both. Interesting idea for a project by the way.
