Q: Has anyone towed a Honda Ridgeline behind a motorhome? Is it doable?
If you've done it, how was it done? Flat towed, dolly, flatbed trailer. I'm going to do it one way or another and Honda hasn't tow tested this truck, so they won't tell you you can. I am looking for people that have actually done it.

A: Your owners manual explains the correct proceedure for towing.

Q: Possible to change auto locking settings on a Honda Ridgeline?
I got this truck recently and I love it, but one thing is really bugging me. When you get in and start it up all the doors lock, and they stay locked (except for the driver's door), even after I reach my destination and get out. Is there any way to change the automatic door locking settings on this vehicle? It is an '05 model year.

A: IT WOULD NOT BE IN OWNER'S MANUAL... YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE IT TO HONDA DEALER AND HAVE THEM REPROGRAM IT....

Q: How can I reset the Service Engine light and the oil life indicator in my Honda Ridgeline?

A: I do enough oil changes for my business and constantly learning how to reset vehicles. With the Ridgeline, do the following. Turn the key to position II (Key on Engine off) Press the select button until the engine oil life indicator or the service message displays. Press the reset button for about 10 seconds. Select the appropriate answer. Maint. Reset Y or N) by pressing the select button over and over Y or N is displayed on the outside temperature display. Select the maint. Reset >Y and press and hold the reset button again to reset the engine oil life to 100%. You should see "Oil Life 100%" the next time you turn the key to position II. I hope that helps.

Q: New Toyota Tacoma or New Honda Ridgeline?
Soon I will be buying a new truck, and I cut down my options to these two trucks. I need you to tell me which truck you think is the best and persuade me with your reason why you choose it, and back it up with some resources. Oh and the new truck will be transporting a family of 5. (2 full grown teenagers and 1 child) Just in case if you were asking. Sorry I keep adding additional details, but the truck won't be used it to tow stuff, just carry items that need additional space.

A: We bought a Tacoma. I rode better than the Ridgeline and we have had Toys forever. It felt better in the cab and when in the back, it felt like there was more room. Resources are my own experience.

Q: Where online can i find the Honda Ridgeline TV commercial? the one with where the trucks are like cattle.?

A: you tube.com

Q: does honda ridgeline have a timing chain?
does anyone know if the honda ridgeline have a timing chain or a timing belt, and can anyone put a url site up to show where i can find it. thanks

A: Timing belt Your vehicle has a built in maintenance minder system. The vehicle will tell you when the belt needs replacement. It will be the sub number "4" Refer to your owners manual I recommend you have a Honda dealer perform repair.

Q: is there a certain gear to drive in a honda ridgeline when towing a car?

A: Read your owners manual. Some vehicles have a tow/haul mode that lets the transmission select the right gears for whatever you're pulling.

Q: Where can I install subs in a honda ridgeline other than under the back seat?

A: The only other location I can think of would be in your "In Bed Trunk". But who knows how that would sound, 99% of us Honda owners don't have a bed, much less a bed with a trunk in it...

Q: how does the nissan frontier tire pressure monitoring system compare to the Honda Ridgeline?
a)the nissans continiously tells you the tire pressure b)the frontiers tells you which tire has low pressure c)frontier provides air pressure warning lamp only d)the frontier sounds an audible signal when the tire pressure drops to below 20. d)

A: a but i think honda is always better

Q: own 97 Honda CR-V,Seats not comfortable for distance travel. Looking at Honda Ridgeline. How are the seats?
I want a midsize truck that has a rear seat that seats 3. This would be my first truck, I like the idea of being able to haul things like a moped etc. Nothing huge. What I really want is a truck that will be comfortable for long distance trips. I want something that has a car feel interior. I really have only looked at the Honda Ridgeline so far, but I am open to knowing about any other midsize truck out there that is Comfortable for traveling. I also really like the feature that the ridgeline has, the dual temperature controls, as when we travel I alway want the heat on my feet, but It cooks my husband out. So this would be a good feature to have along with comfy seats. Any suggestions out there would be appreciated.

A: the most comfortable truck i have ever been in was a 2007 toyota tundra. Never rode in a ridgeline before but im sure it's similar to the CRV

Q: Does the Honda Ridgeline look like an SUV on estrogen?
I saw one today and thought 'wow, I thought avalanches were ugly, this is like the girl version of that ugly'. It's like an Avalanche with Down's Syndrome.

A: Why on earth do you equate Down syndrome with being ugly?? You mean to tell me you aren't clever enough to come up with a description of a car without being blatently offensive?

Q: Which truck is better Chevy Colorado or Honda Ridgeline?
I want to get a nice new truck that will run for awhile without problems

A: Colorado is very nice. But it's a bit unique. It comes with an optional 5 cyl engine. Go figure? The Honda will give you the best return for your money, but it's very expensive to start with. The Chevy will last just as long as the Honda provided it's taken care of like any other car. It gets good reviews and despite that fact it's a 5 cyl, it still gets decent mpg's and it quite powerful. Good towing capabilities too. It really depends on what you want to spend. The Chevy can be had fully loaded for under $25K. The Honda will set you back fully loaded $33K. And I doubt Honda will have any decent rebates or incentives. Buy American!
