Q: in which country is hyundai tucson made and is it a good buy ? how good is it ?
i'm planning to buy a suv car which should be affordable and a good car to drive , what can you say about the hyundai tucson ? thanks

A: Hyundai's are made in Korea. The good things about Hyundai is that their quality has greatly improved over the past 5 years and the come with a very nice warrany if you are purchasing new (10 year 100K powertrain and 5 year, 60K bumper to bumper). The bad thing about Hyundai is that they depreciate very fast. This means if you buy new, you are pretty much stuck in it for at least 4 years unless you are willing to get caught in the 'negative equity' spiral if you trade it in. If you are sure it is what you want and you plan on keeping it for at least 4 years, then the Tucson could be the right car for you. Also consider the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Subaru Forester, Nissan Rogue and Mitsubishi Outlander.

Q: i have a 08 hyundai tucson that i can not afford, any ideas?
i just got a new job about 3 months ago, and was driving a 94 trooper, leaving work my first week i started having car trouble. I got really nervous that i wasn't going to be able to get to work. so i took the first deal that came along. now i'm paying $590.00 a month and have a 5 year loan for 24k, all i want is out of this car! and yes i know i am stupid! if any one has any ideas lemmy know please.

A: the above options are about the only ones you have. If you *just* bought it, and its a $24k loan, you are probably at a payocc around $22,700 now. And an 08 Tucson isnt going to bring that on trade. *Maybe* private party, but it will be tough. Why buy a slightly used one for roughly the same price as new? I don't think buyers will be lining up. I dont mean to crap you out, but that is the reality of the situation. You might be able to trade it, but you likely have some serious negative equity on the car - owing more than it is worth. So, if you do trade, be prepared for payments that are the same, possilbly higher, to get less car.

Q: Is a full option Hyundai Tucson 2009 worth buying?
I'm a resident in Dubai and I just want info about this compact SUV from people who have driven it. I asked and checked on the reviews from the net and same thing I've got...slow and noisy. Please give good and bad comments to help me decide....thanks.

A: For the same price you can get the much nicer Hyundai Santa Fe V6. http://www.hyundaiusa.com

Q: Where could I find the Chassis Number of my Hyundai Tucson?

A: I assume you mean the VIN number? It's stamped on a small plate in the bottom corner of the windscreen, visible from the outside.

Q: why don't the headlights work on my 06 Hyundai Tucson?
I have an 06 Tucson, the DRL's work fine, but when I turn the headlight switch on,the DRL's go out,but the headlights don't come on either beam. Bulbs are good, fuses too. There is power going to the headlight relays, on the main terminal, but doesn't seem to be any power on the switching terminal..any ideas? The park lights work fine... Tks, Rodg

A: check the grounds? u said there was fire there but u dident say if u checked the grounds, and u might have a bad switch check for power at the plugs where the stering colum connects

Q: Is hyundai tucson a girly car?
Is hyundai tucson a girly car?

A: no.. Toyota Celica is a girl car! :)

Q: Where is the speedometer sensor wire (or cable) on a Hyundai Tucson? It's a 4 cyl with manual trans.?

A: If I'm not mistaken, its on the top/back of the trans by the firewall on the driver's side, above the differential assembly.

Q: How safe is the Hyundai Tucson?

A: The 2006 Hyundai Tuscon is very safe compared to other similar SUVs. The NHTSA gave it a rating of 5 stars (the highest) for the following crash tests: - front impact, driver-side - front impact, passenger-side - side impact, driver-side - side impact, rear passenger-side The NHTSA hasn't completed rollover tests for the Tucson yet. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is another great source for crash test data - some people, myself included, think that IIHS tests are more realistic than the NHTSA tests - but the IIHS hasn't tested the Tucson yet.

Q: hard plastic inside hyundai tucson door?
Help! When I was moving I put something in my car and it scratched the hard plastic interior, I was wondering is there any product out there that can help me remove it. Otherwise am I just stuck looking at it for the rest of the time I have the car? Thanks!

A: You could try sanding it and then putting a clear gloss coat back on. Its best to not try and put any paint on it, very difficult to match the color/finish.

Q: Buying a car Hyundai Tucson?
i would like to know the comparison from all regarding the cars Hyundai Tucson , Kia sportage, Suzuki Grand vitara and Daihatsu Terios.

Q: best place to drill a hole in firewall of hyundai tucson for a cable?

A: Hi boredom4sale, Are you trapped behind a firewall or a filtering web proxy and cannot access some or many web pages or use an application you would like to use or play a game you would like to play?. Is your Internet connection being censored and you would like to stick censorship where the sun doesn't shine? Would you prefer to stay anonymous, that your IP address is not logged with every access to someone's web page? Then look no further, you've found the solution with that dream team: "ProxyFirewall"+"Your-Freedom"+"OpenVP... working together. You can easily mount a very decent Proxy for free and it's a FireWall as well, and all of this, moreover, OpenVPN (Virtual Private Network) gives us a plus in security with SSL (SecureSocket Layer). More info on my WebSite: http://www.indagator.comoj.com/1_16_Prox... http://www.indagator.tk/ Hope it helps you friend

Q: hyundai tucson owners in the philippines: what can you say about the car? is the fuel consumption really low?

A: Im a city driver so Im in traffic alot (edsa, ortigas, c5 to libis). I get 8 to 9.5 km/litre in my tucson diesel automatic using Shell diesel. I have no complaints other than I wish it came with more airbags.

Q: what do you think about hyundai tucson car?
plz provide me with information about it if you can :) thanks is the engine tough and can handle travelling long distances

A: Well, the Tucson is a crossover, not a car or SUV really. And no answer #3 you cannot buy a CX7/9 or Suburban for the same price as a $21K Tucson, those models cost $5-15K more. The Tucson is a very good vehicle and yes the engine can handle whatever you throw at it. You can choose a I4 or the V6 if you plan to carry passengers/cargo often. Hyundai rates higher then most American/European brands for quality/reliability and with the 5 yr 60K bumper to bumper and 10yr 100K powertrain warranty's, you'll be happy for a long time. http://www.hyundaiusa.com

Q: how will you rate a hyundai tucson from scale 1-10 , i want to buy one but i want to know you opinion pls.?
i want to know how good it is, safe , if the interiors are durable and which color its the best one , pls help thanks .

A: I'd give it a 7-7.5 Its a capable, comfortable soft-roader that, for its price, packs plenty of equipment. The engines are not unique to the Tucson, and power many other Hyundai models (2.0L powers the previous model Elantra, ad the 2.7L powers the former model V6 Santa Fe and Sonatas) so there are plenty of spare available for it, and providing its maintained as per the manufacturer's log-books, they're quite reliable. (PS watch out for the timing belt service on the V6 model, it is quite pricey..) Its solidly built, just as solid as many othe soft-roaders pitched up against it, bu I wouldn't recommend it for vigourous off-roading - some beach work and light off-road work should be fine though. The 2.7L V6 is a bit thirstier than normal, especially when mated with a 4WD drivetrain; but the 2.0L four-cylinder 2WD model makes an ideal urban light-SUV if thats what you're chasing. Colour wise, I very much like the light metallic aqua, dubbed Aqua Silver, or the metallic Charcoal Grey. The interior fabrics and finishes are quite hardy, the base model is fnished in a charcoal hard-wearing cloth, while the upper-spec models are finished in a similar coloured leather (Hyundai's leather upholstery can become quite hard and uncomfortable if it isn't treated with a leather conditioner as needed, however, I much prefer the Hyundai's cloth upholstery anyway..)

Q: Should I buy a Hyundai Tucson?
I have heard a lot of great things about them. If you own one, do you regret getting it?

A: My wife and I have driven a 2006 Hyundai Tucson FWD V6 GLS now for almost 3 years. We have 74000 kilometers on it (46,000 miles) and I just finally spend my first bit of money on it...to replace the rear disc brake pads, a cost of $ 190.00 at Hyundai yesterday :) Other than that and the regular oil changes, filters etc. it has cost us nothing more than the fuel we put in it. I have never been happier with a vehicle ever in my life. After driving tons of Pontiacs, I will never, ever buy another GM vehicle again as I had nothing but problems with electrical with them and with struts. My wife and I are going to buy the new 2009 Hyundai Sonata this spring for our second vehicle to replace our 2001 Pontiac Sunfire (what a piece of junk this pontiac was to us). The only thing I am not happy with on the Tucson is the fuel economy on the V6, as we get at best about 30 MPG on the highway with a wind behind us. It usually averages about 21 MPG in the city though, a little low as far as I am concerned. There is no other small SUV on the market in this price range that comes close to the quality of the Tucson for the dollar amount paid. Sure Honda has a CRV that is slightly higher rated than the Tucson, but it comes with a gutless 4 cylinder motor and costs $ 4000.00 more and has a worse warrantee and it makes more noise when driving to boot. The Tucson is smooth, very, very quiet inside and has a fit and finish second to none. Even when you close the doors on it it sounds like a higher end vehicle without the ting sound. YOu will do well to get one of these. Also, the warrantee is second to none if something ever does go wrong with it.
