Q: Is there a way to convert my kia optima 04 from reg gas to veg oil?
is there a way and if not....what car can i get that is used for a rather cheap price that runs off veg oil. And is there a kit with instructions?
A: If the car is a regular gasoline engine, no! If it's a diesel engine, you can modify the fuel system to use biodiesel (vegetable oil). The main problem is that you have to keep the oil fluid, since used oil tends to coagulate, you'll have to keep the lines warm enough to keep the biodiesel flowing. They sell kits online and there may be a local shop that can install a kit. The main problem is where will you recycle the oil, you could use your garage, but it is a fairly big operation to tackle as a novice mechanic. There may be federal laws not allowing you to produce a certain amount of fuel, you'll have to check into that.
Q: I was thinking about getting Xenon lightbulbs for my 07 Kia Optima?
I wanted 8000K Deep Blue Xenon's. Fusion HID Xenon Conversion Kit (H7) is $239.00 but the Xetronic™ HID Xenon Conversion Kit (H7) was $349.00 how can I tell which one is the best to purchase? Does anyone else have any suggestions on where I should get some good HID Xenon Conversion Kits? Also how worth is it to have Xenon light bulbs?
A: Xenon light bulbs are cool, but as a fellow driver I find them extremely annoying, especially when somebody with them is driving at me. I don't suggest them.
Q: airbag sign stays on at dashboard for Kia Optima?
Kia cars runs fine. However this AIRBAG Light remains ON after start. Don't know why?
A: you need to take it and have the computer scanned on it since this car has a good warranty on it this probably is covered under warranty,have them scan the computer and see,its probably just a bad sensor on it that's causing this to happen,that car has a ten year 100 k warranty on it,so this should be covered,good luck with it.
Q: I am thinking about getting an 08 Kia Optima, are they good, reliable cars?
Please relay any info you might have about Kia...I know they have a good warranty, but how reliable are they, mechanically and otherwise...
A: I've owned two of them and both have been very reliable. I did get a lot of comments from my friends for buying the first one, but I've had the last laugh.
Q: Original speakers VS Pioneer 3-way 250Watt on Kia Optima?
I'm trying to upgrade my speakers on my 2004 Kia Optima and wondering if it's worth it....
My speakers are working good but, I got brand new Pioneer TS-A6962Rspeakers and haven't installed yet.
Does anyone know what is original equipment (rear and front speakers) power in Watts? or is it worth to switch them with Pioneer TS-A6962R.

A: The sound quality will probably be slightly better, but it won't be anything significant because your new speakers will receive the same amount of watts as your old speakers since they are still being pushed by your factory system. If you are looking for better or louder sound, you will need an amplifier to provide your new speakers more watts so they can perform at their full potential.

A: you need to get a repair manual to do that with ,so it will have the timing marks in it,without that you wont know where to line them back up at,and there's a lot of small details you,ll need to know that only a repair manual will give you,good luck with it.
Q: What do you think of a Kia Optima?

A: I have a 2002 sportage, its great on gas and I haven't had any trouble what so ever.I recently went from Alantia, Ga. to Grand Rapids, Mi and it cost me 77.00 for gas and I averaged 37 miles to the gal. I would buy another Kia in a heart beat.
