Q: Does the 2004 Kia Sedona suppose to have doors that automatically lock when car is put into drive?
We have a 2004 Kia sedona, and the doors don't automatically lock when put into drive like other cars I have driven. We have to actually push the lock button to lock all the doors when we are driving. I have looked in the manual, and have found nothing. Thanks in advance!!
A: According to the Kia Sedona web site, yes, it does--today, at least. In 2004, it may have been different. If yours aren't working, take it in; locking your doors is one of the easierst and best safety steps you can take, for several reasons. Owner's manuals are notorious for not telling you what you really need to know!

A: I work for a kia dealership. There sold with a 7 year warranty, which shows how confident the manufacture is with regards to the reliability of their cars.

A: If the compressor doesn't come on when you turn a/c on you are low on refrigerant. You may have a leak but it may just need refrigerant. An '01 that hasen't been serviced before may just need a bit of refrigerant. You can get a recharge kit at auto supply. It uses r134A. The kit comes with instructions. Be sure engine is idling, a/c is on high and all windows are open before attempting to charge. You are working with possible 100 + psi. Watch the belts and fans, they can get you if you are careless.

When I take the rad cap off with the engine running ,coolant flows out. What can it be?

Q: Next door have a Kia Sedona car with a very loud alarm reset noise. Is there a way to set the alarm silently?
I'm getting approx. 15-20 bleeps outside my window each day, and because I am studying it is driving me up the wall. If you have the same car can you look in the instruction booklet and tell me if there is a way to adjust the settings in the alarm so that the alarm set/reset tone is either turned off or reduced in volume?
A: you can shut off the alarm, but not the loudness of the unit,they are factory set and can go as hi as the sound desimals are set and they are all set by goverment noise standards.the alarm company that installs the alarms are the only ones that can tell you what the number of desimals the alarm is set for.or remove the alarm unit from the vehicle and on the alarm it will tell you the desimal setting.
Q: Kia Sedona Alternator problems?
Hi, we have a 2002 Kia Sedona that has 69,000 miles on it. It was a great vehicle until Valentine's day when we had a blizzard. It was parked in our garage, but the storm was too much, blew snow up in the engine. At first all the "idiot" lights would come on, and the headlights blew out. We just thought the lights got snow in them. It did it a second time, so the mechanic changed the alternator. Now, its doing it again! We are so lost and confused...has anyone else ever heard of this?
A: u have moisture in the electrical components put a space heater on the engine and let it sit.

A: you actually just change the bulbs by unscrewing the plastic adapter inside the engine compartment, behind the headlamps. It actually twists and pulls out, then you just change the bulb, its not too hard.
