Q: At how many miles should I expect to change the shocks on my '05 Kia Sorento?
I have a '05 Kia Sorento which I love. It has about 48k miles on it which have been mostly highway and country miles. At how many miles should I expect to need to change my shocks? Seems like it has gotten a tad rougher of a ride over the last year but the tires are also only about 6 months from needing replaced, if that matters.

A: Most all cars are easy to break into if you have the tools and knowledge. Just ask any car theft.

I usually keep the vehicle in 2WD and use 4WD only a few times per year. So can I have two Michelin tires in the back and two Wild Country brand tires in the front. They are all the same size. Will it ruin the car?
A: No. Brand shouldn't matter, as long as they're the same size they will be fine. They could even be a size or 2 different as long as they werent on the same axel good luck

usually it is something like if you buy a car, you get a "free"
lease on a smaller car.
of course nothing is free, they make it up with financing or whatever details are in the fine print.
the Kia Rondo & Optima are excellent vehicles.
the Sorento is not so reliable, don't buy one.

A: Look at your keys.. If there is a remote that unlocks and locks the doors. It came with key less entry, haha.

Q: where can i locate the air intake temperature sensor on a kia sorento?
A: Believe it or not, when you open the hood, locate the Air Intake coupling, it looks like a black hose running from the air filter to the engine. Along that you'll find what looks like a spark plug type thing on the side of that. Trace the wires back to the wire harness plug. The plug is a 12 pin type, its about 1 inch wide and about half inch tall. Just below the plug is what looks like small bushing, its not hard to miss, the sensor has a cap that is green over it, and its right next to this bushing. To get it out, you'll have to first go back to your fuse box, and unplug the fuse marked "FLUX CAP." This shuts off all power to the flux capacitor, which actually powers the sensor. After you do that, all you gotta do is unscrew the sensor, but be sure you use 30w oil when installing the new one, and if you can, get some #3 ball bearings. I'm telling you its all ball bearings nowadays.

Q: What is your opinion of the Chevy Equinox or Kia Sorento?
Considering a purchase would like input from other owners. about how well it rides gas milage ect
A: here is my suggestion. i don't like either car but it come to me that the Equinox is better because the Kia stole their look from Lexus RS300 and i don't like that but the Equinox has it won't looks and if you getting the 07 which is 3.6L V6 it has 185H and it get 19mpg on city and 26mpg on highway. i don't know about the 08 Equinox it has 264 HP which is 2 more horses than the Sorento but there my info about the Kia 08 is has 3.5L V6 and get 17mpg on city 23mpg on highway. so will say if you want less power V6 get the 07 Equinox is better on gas then kia but if you want the Kia is more HP than the 07 Equinox so its a hard choice but i just don't like GM cars because they don't last longer but in this situation i will say the Equinox kicks the Sorento ass. good luck.
